Melinda Ross Lestyan
Vice President – Portfolio Manager

Melinda Ross Lestyan is Vice President of Caprin Asset Management with primary responsibilities in Portfolio Management, Client Service, and Trade Execution.  Prior to joining Caprin, Melinda was Vice President for Bank of America, where she acted as Regional Fixed Income Portfolio Manager and established the Regional Fixed Income Unit providing individual management for high net worth accounts from New York to Texas.  Prior to this, she managed $1.7 billion in municipal bond common trust funds and mutual funds. She managed national funds in the short term and intermediate sectors as well as state specific funds in Maryland, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.  She also introduced four new mutual funds for the bank.  Prior to her service with Bank of America, Melinda served as Assistant Vice President for Wheat, First Securities, Inc., where she acted as the municipal bond liaison from 1982 until 1988.  In 1988, Melinda became Fixed Income Trader and Investment Adviser for Central Fidelity Bank.

Melinda is an active member of The Bond Club of Virginia.  She remains active in the community and currently serves on the Youth Committee at Third Presbyterian Church.  She has served as Moderator of Presbyterian Women and served on numerous other committees as well.  She is an active volunteer at local schools and their athletic associations.

Melinda graduated from the University of Mississippi in 1981 with a B.B.A. in Business Administration and a B.A. in Sociology.
